Alex Mitton - Director
Alex joined the family business in 1997 after studying Software Engineering at Staffordshire University and made Director in 2005. He is a Member of the Institute of Refrigeration and the Dealer Principal for Carrier Transicold Cumbria in charge of the transport refrigeration section with responsibilities for Health & Safety, Environmental Policy, HR, Financial Accounts, IT and the day-to-day operation of the Company. He enjoys cricket, golf and when abroad enjoys scuba diving.
Tom Little - Director 
After being in the refrigeration trade since 1967 specialising in Air Conditioning, Tom joined us in 1983, becoming a Director in 1990. A keen golfer, serving on Committees including the County Executive, he is married to Elaine with two children, Grant & Lauren. He also enjoys gardening and socialising.
Keith Walker - Director 
Keith joined us in 1956 on his 16th birthday as an apprentice engineer. In 1985 he joined the sales team as an Associate Director, becoming Director in 1990. Married to Deana with a daughter, he is a Carlisle United fan and attends all home matches; he also enjoys gardening and travelling abroad.
John Bruce - Service Director
John joined in 1969 as an apprentice engineer gaining a wealth of engineering skills and knowledge. He was made Service Director in 1990. He enjoys travelling abroad and is married to Sheila.
Brian Whelan - Associate Director (Sales) 
Brian joined in 1996 as a Sales Executive and was made Associate Director in 2001. He specialises in Air Conditioning and Commercial Refrigeration. He enjoys cycling, gardening and has a keen interest in motor cars. Brian lives in Dumfries with his wife Mary and daughter Rebecca.
Fiona Deacon - Accounts
Fiona joined in 1987 and runs the payroll and all accounts payable (someone has to do the VAT!). Fiona enjoys fell-walking, travelling and is married to Clive, they have two children, Claire & Craig.
Wendy Johnson - Service Administrator 
Wendy joined us in 1998 and manages our service and maintenance contracts, she also liaises with customers and organises man-power. Wendy enjoys swimming, going to the gym and walking the Golden Retriever. She is married to Paul and they have two children, Daniel & Matthew.
Sue Dawes - Receptionist & Typist
Sue joined in 2005 and produces all quotes, letters and communications. Sue enjoys gardening and looking after the family. Married to Lee they have two children, Chris & Alison and two grandchildren, Owen & Dillon.
Michelle McKnight - Service Office
Michelle joined in 2004 and holds the service department’s administrative role. Michelle enjoys going to the gym, cooking and has a daughter called Zara.
